Director of Operations

We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.

 

The Director of Operations role is a key member of the management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You will maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you.

 

The goal of the Director of Operations position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures

  2. Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth

  3. Establish policies that promote company culture and vision

  4. Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)

  5. Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication

Senior Data Scientist 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to drive lifestyle analytics solution. You will work closely with the leadership team and get exposed to clients on regular basis for input on the product. 

 

The Senior Data Scientist role is a key member of the product team, reporting only to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). You will develop cutting edge lifestyle analytics solutions and maintain existing tech stack. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you.

 

The goal of the Senior Data Scientist position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with actuaries and behavioral scientist teams to identify problems and pain points within our clients

  2. Design solutions that use data and advanced analytics (machine learning, optimization, statistical and mathematical frameworks) to solve these problems 

  3. With a multidisciplinary team of systems engineers and developers deploy models into production environments

  4. Measure benefit of the solution through experimentation and performance measurement strategies

  5. Communicate findings and insights through papers and reports

  6. Work with the sales team and data science managers to develop strategies for client engagement and offerings.

  7. Manages  to 1-3 project at a time

  8. Presents to senior level leadership including technical clients and manager level

Skills:

  1. Proven experience as Senior Data Scientist or relevant role

  2. 4 years Data Science production code development experience in Python (especially devops, continuous CI/CD, unit testing

  3. 4 years of continuous experience with Google Cloud Platform and relevant tools (e.g., PubSub, Compute Engine, BigQuery)

  4. Practical knowledge of Machine learning techniques such as regression, classification & deep learning.

  5. 2 years experience experience with SQL

  6. Experience with coding best practices, version control and documentation

  7. Master’s or equivalent in engineering, computer science, machine learning, statistics, physics, genetics, animal/breeding or equivalent

Sales Development Representative

Sales Development Representative (SDR) will join a team to actively introduce Pilotbird  software and fraud monitoring solutions to claims and SIU professionals across the US and Canada. You will foster new relationships via outbound efforts, and will be directly responsible for getting them excited about partnering with Pilotbird .

 

The SDR role is a member of the sales team, reporting only to the Sales Manager. We are looking for you to come in and hit the ground running. We’re looking for a SDR to help build and maintain our sales pipeline and to help our cross-functional teamwork smarter. You will be collaborating closely with our Marketing Team, you’ll source, drive, and build relationships with prospects across the US.

 

The goal of the SDR position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

  2. Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails

  3. Present our company to potential prospects

  4. Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services

  5. Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects

  6. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  7. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales Executives

  8. Report to the Sales Manager on sales results

Skills:

  1. 6 months to 2 years of relevant business development experience

  2. Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results

  3. Able to think strategically and tactically.

  4. Able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure

  5. BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field
